Just over one week to go: Meet the MWC influencers
Mobile World Congress (MWC) is the industry’s annual showcase, but how do you make the most of it? With up to 2,000 companies all clamouring for attention, it can be difficult to cut through the noise, particularly if you don’t happen to be a tier one operator or a major handset manufacturer. And what do you say – how can you frame your story so that it will appeal to the media and analysts covering the show?
But while visibility at the show is important, we appreciate just how much time companies need to invest in their customers and partners, how meetings with business prospects and closing deals takes priority. Profile raising activity should take place in the lead-up to the show so that senior executives time in Barcelona will be spent speaking with important customers and meeting with only the key influencers.
Our view has always been that a primary objective is to make sure the stand and meeting room are packed with potential customers and partners keen to do business. If there was ever a measure of success at MWC, a busy exhibition stand has to be high on the list!
The key to success is preparation. We’re hosting a pre-MWC event on 26th November to discuss how companies can best prepare for the show and derive as much value as possible from their external communications. We plan to answer the questions posed above and provide vendors with the insight they need to stand out from the crowd in Barcelona and be marked as ‘one to watch.’
