THE CHALLENGE

As the UK agency of record, Babel was responsible for strategy, content development and media relations, ensuring Polycom was positioned as a leader in UC and collaboration. Polycom had a good AV trade and industry profile but it needed to ramp visibility with UK national, business and vertical media.

THE SOLUTION

The Babel team delivered an integrated campaign across media and social channels to drive visibility and thought leadership. The campaign was driven by issues-led content focused on key UC trends such as cloud, telepresence and voice and video over-IP. Messaging was tailored for key verticals (with a strong focus healthcare), driving brand exposure with sector audiences.

THE OUTCOME

Regular engagement with Tier One media, resulted in BBC and Telegraph coverage and a CEO profile in City AM. The campaign boosted Polycom presence with enterprise IT and tech press. Strong presence in healthcare media raised profile with key sector audience. In addition, Babel supported Polycom hosted events, driving press to attend and cover a Women in AV Event held in central London.
