Success with Kickstarter
The challenge:
Thingsee is a device designed to make the Internet of Things (IoT) happen quickly. The brief was simple really – make sure the right people know about the Kickstarter campaign so that the company behind Thingsee (Haltian) received the investment it needed.
The solution:
A simple brief but the reality is that only 26% of technology projects on Kickstarter are successfully funded and only 5% exceed $100,000. We used our contacts to generate top tier media coverage in key titles and encouraged social sharing to ensure the interest was generated.
The outcome:
Thingsee was quickly given an ‘editors pick’ stamp, the funds started rolling in and Thingsee joined the ‘5% club’. We can now expect to see Thingsees rolling off the production line.
