Recommind and The Global Legal Post present the Information Governance Report 2013

London, 18th October, 2013 – Recommind, the leader in unstructured data management, analysis and governance technology, has partnered with the Global Legal Post to deliver The Information Governance Report 2013. The report will be presented at a roundtable discussion entitled ‘BigData: Clouding the issue’, on the 22nd October, at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London.

This roundtable will discuss balancing the challenges of effectively managing the increasing amount of information created by companies with the ever growing regulatory culture. With the amount of digital data doubling every two years, research shows the legal departments need to be aware of the huge risks to the business if it is not managed properly.

Research conducted by the global legal post in association with Recommind has shown that nearly one in three organisations has had to deal with issues around poor information management or information governance with 43% of these saying the company suffered damage to its reputation as a result.

Setting up an accident proof system has its fair share of challenges; from ownership of the issue to getting buy-in from the organisation across multiple levels. This roundtable looks at current thinking from legal departments and regulators thoughts and expectations and will produce the findings of the latest research on the issue enabling attendees to benchmark their organisation and share insights from peers.

If you are an in-house lawyer who would like to attend the event at the Theatre Royal, then please click here to register today, or contact Kay Allen at Recommind on 0203 627 4359 or alternatively email  [email protected] for more information.
