Global attack
The challenge:
How do you generate global coverage for a hidden technology. That was the prospect facing Babel – Nominum, the company behind DNS services for many of the world’s communications service providers wanted to raise their profile.
The solution:
We convinced Nominum that they already had the raw material available. Instead of recommending expensive alternatives we asked Nominum to interrogate their own data to reveal the extent of a growing security phenomena – amplification attacks. We then pushed that data to media targets around the world.
The outcome:
What resulted was a telephone book sized folder of on-message coverage in national and international business, trade and vertical sector media. It was a major story that hit in every continent and lifted Nominum’s profile considerably.
