Epson came to Babel for complete event support around Mobile World Congress 2016, at which it would be launching its new smartglasses – the Moverio BT300. Babel’s activity saw the company through a hugely successful event, during which it hosted a heavily attended press conference (scripted and choreographed by Babel), undertook 120 one-to-one media and analyst briefings, was shortlisted for a staggering 3 Global Mobile Awards, and secured over 660 pieces of launch coverage.
On the ground in Barcelona all week, a dedicated Babel team oversaw all logistics, staffed all briefings, arranged video and photographic capture of Epson-sponsored F1 champion Lewis Hamilton’s stand visit, and provided daily content for Epson’s social media accounts. At last count, the company’s event hashtags were used in 1,730 tweets.
