eYeka, the world’s leading creative crowdsourcing platform, is reaching a major milestone in the continuous growth of its community. After celebrating the 150,000 member mark in March 2011, the 200,000th member in May 2012, and the 250,000th member in July 2013, the eYeka community has now reached 300,000 members.
The community now includes members from 164 countries, who regularly participate in creative competitions initiated by major brands to accelerate their innovation and improve their marketing efforts. For brands, using eYeka is a way to get fresh creative input for their marketing challenges; for creatives, participating on eYeka allows them to improve their skills, work with the biggest global brands and their agencies, and get rewarded for creating high quality content and ideas.
Since its creation in 2006, the company has launched over 730 contests, to which participants have submitted over 84,000 ideas, which represents over 110 submissions to each contest in average, and for which the winners have received more than €4,763,000 (US$5,620,000/GBP £3,700,000), which is over €6,500 (US$7,700/GBP£5,100) for each contest on average.
