September is the time we close off the third quarter of the year and look towards those final months of 2021 (where is this year going?!?). During the month that hosted the iconicLondon Tech Week, the Babel team was once again working hard to secure our clients some fantastic pieces of coverage. And it's now that we get to my favourite time of the new month; when I have the opportunity to pick my top five pieces of coverage from September. So, without much further ado, here they are. Enjoy!

The Babel team continued to celebrate female leaders in the tech industry. Senior product manager for clientQT, Asa Forsell, sat down withForbes journalist Tracey Welson-Rossman, to talk about her journey into the tech industry and her role at a global software company.

This year, we've seen governments and organisations rush to cut carbon emissions in a bid to reach global carbon emission targets. Currently, the telecoms industry makes up a staggering 3% of all global energy consumption. With this in mind, the Babel team worked closely with hydrogen fuel cell client,Gencell, and its CEO, Rami Reschef, who spoke withReutersabout how the implementation of hydrogen can help the telecoms industry wean itself off an intensive power infrastructure.

When it comes to patch security and management, clientOrange Cyberdefenseis ideally placed to shed light on the topic. With extensive expertise in managed threat detection, the Babel team secured an opportunity for Charl van der Walt, head of security research at Orange Cyberdefense, to chat withThe Register.Charl sat down with journalist Davey Winder to discuss the issue of untested patches and what organisations must do to prevent gaps within organisational threat detection.

Alongside the race to cut emissions this year, we have also seen the ongoing struggles of the computer chip shortage. Cindy Jaudon, regional president for clientIFS, a global enterprise software solutions provider, sat down withCNN'sChris Isidore, to discuss the issues of the current supply chain shortage and the problems it's bringing across a multitude of industries.

Following news that the Bank of England is to advise firms to promote their own 'RegTech' products, Babel worked with clientNorthRowto secure an editorial opportunity withInternational Bankeron the case for accelerating the adoption of regtech.

And last but certainly by no means least, this month, the Babel team had the opportunity to welcome our clientTelcoDRto London. Founder and CEO DR's week was jam-packed with engagements, including face time with the UK's telecoms media. Our personal highlights included sitting courtside for a tennis match between DR and TelcomTV'sRay Le Maistre, and listening in to journalists Scott Bicheno and Iain Morris filming DR' starring role in their Telecoms.compodcast.

And there we have itanother great month of coverage all-around. If you would like to hear more about any of the above or what we can deliver for you, please doget in touch.
