THE CHALLENGE

Interxion is a leading European provider of colocation data centre services. The company provides its customers – major stock exchanges, telcos, digital media companies and enterprises – with the infrastructure required to enable digital transformation. As the ‘unsung hero’ of the industry, Interxion wanted to engage a PR agency to help build brand visibility in the UK, underpinned by the launch of its third data centre in London – LON3 – and its mission to make London a leading Smart City by 2020.

THE SOLUTION

Babel designed and executed an integrated marcomms campaign, showcasing the company’s breadth and depth of expertise. This involved the creation of blog content, used internally by the Interxion marketing team, and as fuel for the proactive press office, demonstrating the company’s knowledge and expertise in the technology sector.

THE OUTCOME

In the space of four months, Babel successfully positioned Interxion as a leader in the technology and data centre sectors. The team secured opportunities with tier one press, including CBR, Broadcast, the Sunday Express and IT Pro Portal, which helped to build share of voice against major competitors in the market.
