Every year we allocate a proportion of staff time to working pro bono for charitable organisations that we believe are making a positive impact. For the last three years we’ve supported Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF), the world’s first NGO focusing on emergency-response technologies.
In addition to our pro bono work, we allocate funds that are available to support charities and community groups that the Babel team are directly involved with, or those they believe deserve our support.

Télécoms Sans Frontières
Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF) is the world’s first NGO focussing on emergency-response telecom technologies. It enables victims of humanitarian crises to contact their loved ones and begin to regain control of their lives, as well as building rapid-response communication centres for local and international responders. Awareness of French-based TSF was low in English-speaking media. Babel works with TSF on a pro-bono basis to reach a telecom operator and technology leader audience, in order to attract more partnerships and increase funding levels for the life-changing work the NGO does.
