Vince Molinaro joins Procera Networks’ Board of Directors
Fremont, Calif., 04 May 2017 – Procera Networks is pleased to announce Vince Molinaro has joined the company’s Board of Directors. Bringing almost 30 years of experience from a range of senior executive positions, including Alcatel-Lucent and Juniper Networks, Molinaro’s expertise in building commercial teams to serve tier-one customers and partners on a global level will help Procera extend its current position in key markets for its virtualization and cloud offerings.
Beyond his new position on the Procera board, Molinaro is currently Chief Customer Officer and Executive Vice President at Juniper Networks. Prior to joining Juniper in 2009, Molinaro held senior executive and in-country regional positions at a number of big industry players including Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent, and Internap Network Services. Molinaro also sits on the Telecommunications Industry Association board. He will support Procera’s overall business objectives and will leverage his experiences in go-to-market execution, engineering, product management, and operations.
“Procera has grown rapidly and they are helping to shape the virtualization space through its packet intelligence and digital decisioning work with telecom and network operators around the world. I am looking forward to supporting the leadership team’s initiative in growing to the next level,” said Vince Molinaro.
Commenting on the appointment, Lyn Cantor, CEO at Procera Networks, said: “Vince is a terrific addition to the board. He has built a track record of driving growth and delivering customer value on a global scale. Vince also brings a wealth of hands-on experience in a number of operational areas and will be very helpful in guiding us on how to continue to lead the market with our virtual and cloud initiatives.”
Procera’s subscriber and network intelligence technology has become the preferred choice for tier one and tier two fixed, mobile, and Wi-Fi operators around the world. From giving operators the tools to tackle encryption to managing content filtering, enforcing parental restrictions and helping meet regulatory requirements, Procera is giving back the network visibility and control that has otherwise been lost in recent years.
