Growing EMEA customer portfolio prompts hire of new Consulting Director at Astound Commerce

Jas Sandhu joins Astound management team to help service recent account wins, including Orlebar Brown, Boohoo and Sally’s Beauty

London, UK – 16 November 2016Astound Commerce, the global Digital Commerce Agency, today announced a number of new customer wins with Musto, Orlebar Brown, Boohoo, Extra, Boux Avenue and Sally’s Beauty. As a result of growing momentum in the EMEA region and to continue providing a high quality of service to its existing customer base, Astound has appointed Jas Sandhu as EMEA Consulting Director.

The recent wins signify Astound’s growing expertise in creating e-commerce platforms for some of the world’s largest retailers in the fashion apparel and beauty industries, with existing customers including Space N.K. and Anya Hindmarch. Joining the team in October 2016, Jas Sandhu brings over 16 years’ experience to his new role at Astound. Having started out in e-commerce in 2000 as a developer, Sandhu’s extensive technical knowledge will ensure that Astound’s client base, current and future, receive a service agile enough to meet their own specific business requirements.

Sandhu previously worked as Solutions Manager with Astound’s UK Managing Director, Terry Hunter at a systems integrator service provider. He joins the company from Equestrian.com, where he held the role of Chief Technical Director/ Chief Digital Officer. During his time there, Sandhu led the company’s digital team, including social, PPC, SEO, ecommerce, affiliate marketing etc, as well as overseeing the entire ERP backbone IT infrastructure. At Astound he will be heavily involved in consultancy, solutions, client services, sales and identifying new strategic partnerships.

Commenting on Sandhu’s appointment, Astound Commerce’s UK Managing Director, Terry Hunter, said: “The last year has seen a staggering number of new customer wins to the EMEA arm of Astound.
