Ericsson licenses OSS interfaces to Anite
Anite, a global leader in wireless network testing technology, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Ericsson for the access to the company’s OSS interfaces. The integration with Ericsson product interfaces expands Anite’s Nemo product reach with critical OSS data from the Ericsson’s 2G, 3G and 4G (LTE) networks. The contract was signed under the OSSii – Operations Support Systems interoperability initiative.
Fredrik Gessler, Head of Network Analytics and Management, Ericsson, says: “Our license agreement with Anite reinforces Ericsson’s commitment to supporting interoperability and desire to provide flexibility for our customers. OSSii enables this by delivering integration efficiencies, faster time-to-market and lower integration costs.”
“The ability to access Ericsson’s OSS interfaces is a greatly sought after feature in the market. With their strong position in our customer base, access to data like call-traces enables us to generate valuable analysis information to operators,” says Jussi Lemiläinen, Senior Vice President Data Analytics Solutions at Anite Network Testing. “More accurate data gives more accurate analysis, enabling better optimization and ultimately improved user experience for end-users.”
