BICS wins best LTE roaming product award

Brussels – Belgium, November 22, 2013 – BICS, a global provider of wholesale carrier services, won the “Best LTE Roaming Product” Award for its LTE Roaming suite of Services at the LTE North America Awards in Dallas. North America’s LTE industry leaders came together in Dallas for the 4th annual Telecoms.com LTE North America Awards to celebrate innovation and recognise excellence in the LTE community.

This award recognizes the “Best LTE Roaming Product” which contributes to both making LTE more attractive for operators, while at the same time contributing to the success of commercial LTE deployments. Other finalists in the award category were Aicent, F5 Networks, iBasis and Syniverse.

For over 15 years BICS has been delivering innovative, best in class solutions to its customers. One of its principal goals is to simplify the job of mobile network operators. LTE roaming poses great challenges for operators, it requires the roll-out of new technical interconnections and commercial agreements between all mobile networks, supported by a completely new all-IP international signalling infrastructure.

To reduce the complexity of implementing LTE, BICS has developed a full suite of services allowing for the fast and easy roll-out of LTE, seamless 2G/3G/4G worldwide roaming experiences and interoperability with other networks.

Daniel Kurgan, CEO BICS: “By winning this award we are confirming our role as a leading provider of LTE roaming solutions. It clearly indicates our dedication to reducing the complexity of implementing LTE worldwide and enabling our customers to meet their customer’s demand for a high speed data roaming experience”.
